Peugeot Scrappage Scheme

Peugeot Scrappage Scheme Supported by Cartakeback

Since May this year, owners of cars that are more than ten years have been able to scrap them and get £2,000 off the invoice price of a brand new vehicle.

Due to its success, the original £300 million programme was extended by a further £100 million during September.  The Government provides customers with £1,000 when they scrap their old vehicle – which must have been registered before 31st August 1999 and Peugeot provides the remaining £1,000 discount.

Information for Peugeot Customers

The Peugeot delaer will make all of the necessary arrangements for your vehicle to be scrapped.  Once your car has been collected it will be delivered to a Cartakeback Authorised Treatment Facility where a DVLA Certificate of Destruction will be issued. This will effectively remove your car from the DVLA vehicle registration database so that you are not at risk to continuous registration penalties. All scrap cars which are treated by Cartakeback are de-polluted and recycled in accordance with the government target of 85%.
