Ford have announced a new scrappage scheme starting this month, July 2019. The New for Old Scrappage Scheme gives customers at least £2,000 off a selection of their new vehicles when trading in an old car for recycling.

Ford’s UK boss, Andy Barratt, said;

“To help reduce the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the use of our vehicles, we are committed to making more efficient, lower-impact vehicles and technologies accessible at scale."

The scrappage scheme includes both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You'll be eligible for the scrappage offer if your old car was registered before the 1st January 2013 and you've owned it for over 90 days, it doesn't matter what make or model the vehicle is. If you decide to go for the offer, you'll need to order your new Ford by the 30th September 2019.
