Today, car makers Ford, announced that they will be launching a car scrappage scheme! It's great news for owners of scrap cars and the scheme is aimed to improve air pollution.

Ford's scrappage scheme will start on the 1st September 2017 and will run until the end of the year. It's open to owners of cars that were registered before 2010, and you must have owned it for over 90 days. Unlike some scrappage schemes that only accept diesel cars, Ford's scheme is different and is open to owners of petrol and diesel cars.

The scrappage incentives start at £2,000 and if you're wanting a new Ford Focus Titanium you can get £4,950 off when you scrap your car, that's a great deal!
