Our scrap car collection option is ideal if you don’t have the time to drop your car off, but it’s also the perfect option if your car isn’t working, or if you don’t have tax, insurance or a valid MOT.
With over 300 scrap car collectors across the UK ready to buy your car, we’re never far away and can collect your car from anywhere in the UK! Free scrap car collection can be arranged at a time to suit you. We’ll collect from any accessible location, whether it’s your home, work or a garage. Just let us know where you’d like your car to be collected from and we’ll get in touch to arrange the details with you.
Arranging the collection of your car is quick and easy. After you’ve accepted a quote for your scrap car, your local CarTakeBack branch will contact you to arrange a convenient time and date to collect your car, and answer any questions you might have.
We’ll do our best to fit in with you and most scrap car collections are arranged within a day or two of you accepting a quote. Collections usually take place from Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm. But please let us know if you’re in a hurry, or you need us to collect your car earlier or later than this, or on a Sunday, and we’ll do our best to help.
We’ll send you a reminder, either a text or email, to confirm the collection date and time that we agreed with you.

Shortly after, in 2008, CarTakeBack introduced fully nationwide scrap car collection. Collecting cars across the UK, we’ve even collected vehicles in the remotest of locations like Shetland, the Outer Hebrides and the Isles of Scilly!

It was so easy, and they come & pick the car up which saves you any bother came on time and where so friendly all paperwork taken care off which saves so much bother, couldn't recommend enough..
