Our scrap car collection option is ideal if you don’t have the time to drop your car off, but it’s also the perfect option if your car isn’t working, or if you don’t have tax, insurance or a valid MOT.

Free scrap car collection can be arranged at a time to suit you. We’ll collect from any accessible location, whether it’s your home, work or a garage. Arranging the collection of your car is quick and easy. After you’ve accepted a quote for your scrap car, your local CarTakeBack branch will contact you to arrange a convenient time and date to collect your car, and answer any questions you might have.
We’ll do our best to fit in with you and most scrap car collections are arranged within a day or two of you accepting a quote. Collections usually take place from Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm. But please let us know if you’re in a hurry, or you need us to collect your car earlier or later than this, or on a Sunday, and we’ll do our best to help.
We’ll send you a reminder, either a text or email, to confirm the collection date and time that we agreed with you.

Shortly after, in 2008, CarTakeBack introduced fully nationwide scrap car collection. Collecting cars across the UK, we’ve even collected vehicles in the remotest of locations like Shetland, the Outer Hebrides and the Isles of Scilly!

From the beginning to the end nothing was too much trouble. Collection date arrange and the company collecting, Redcorn, called to confirm. On the day they even called 1/2 an hour before to give me time to be at the location. Perfect.
