Throughout September last year there was a flurry of announcements from various car manufacturers detailing their own unique car scrappage schemes, giving customers the chance to get money off a new vehicle when you scrapped your old car. All of them were limited time scrappage offers, with some ending in October, November, and December. However, if you're quick, you can still take advantage of some scrappage scheme deals, because there are still a few that have continued into 2018, due to finish at the end of this month.
If you're in the market for a brand new car and have an old car to scrap, here's an update on which schemes are still available at the moment…

Audi Scrappage Incentive
You can get up to £8,000 off an Audi, if you choose to trade your scrappage car for one of 12 of their models, including the Audi TT, and the Q2 e-tron.
Citroën Scrappage Scheme
The Citroën Scrappage Scheme ensures that cars traded in through the scheme are recycled with CarTakeBack, the approved scrap car recycling partner to Citroën. You can use the offer on many Citroën vehicles, including the C1, C3 Aircross, and their range of Relay vans.
Dacia Scrappage Scheme
Dacia's scheme offers you £500 when buying a Sandero, and up to £2,000 as a scrappage incentive on a Duster model, including their Lauréate dCi 4x4.
DS Scrappage Scheme
Choose from any of the DS model range for a scrappage allowance of up to £5,500. Cars scrapped through the DS scheme will be recycled by CarTakeBack, the official scrap car recycling partner to DS.
Ford New For Old Scrappage Scheme
Get up to £7,000 off a new Ford with their scrappage scheme. Cars traded in under Ford's scheme will be recycled, ensuring a positive effect on the environment.
Hyundai Scrappage and Emission Reduction Scheme
This scheme also allows cars to be traded in rather than recycled, whilst still benefiting from the scrappage incentives.
Kia Scrappage Scheme
Kia's scheme has two models eligible, the Rio and Picanto, and they each come with a seven year warranty.
Mazda Scrappage Scheme - Upgrade Plan
With Mazda's scheme all vehicles traded in will be recycled responsibly by CarTakeBack - ensuring a true car scrappage scheme.
Mitsubishi Scrappage Scheme
All scrappage cars traded through the scheme will be permanently destroyed through CarTakeBack. The scheme includes the Outlander PHEV, which you'll get £4,000 scrappage allowance for, plus an additional £2,500 from the Government Plug-In Car Grant!
Peugeot Scrappage Scheme
Peugeot gives you a range of 14 models to choose from through their scrappage scheme, from the 108 city car, to the 3008 SUV, and even their Boxer vans. There are deals up to £7,000 off a new car from them, and the scrappage scheme ensures that all scrappage vehicles are recycled through CarTakeBack, their official scrap car recycling partner.
Seat Scrappage Incentive
Seat stipulates that you must have owned the car for 6 months or more to be eligible for their scrappage allowances.
Toyota Scrap Old Drive New Scheme
With vehicles including the Toyota AYGO, C-HR Hybrid crossover, and the Hilux, you can get a scrappage saving of up to £4,000 when you take advantage of their Old Drive New scheme.
Volkswagen Scrappage Upgrade Scheme
